متن کاملElectron paramagnetic resonance study of carp methemoglobin.
The g anisotropy of the EPR spectra of carp azidomethemoglobin is found to be pH-dependent, whereas, the spectra of human azidomethemoglobin are not. The two hemoglobins have the same g values at alkaline pH values. Crystal field analysis yielded values of 2.25 and 3.31, respectively, for the rhombic distortion, V/lambda, and the tetragonal distortion, delta/lambda. The spin orbit coupling cons...
متن کاملElectron paramagnetic resonance and relaxation study of copper (II) and silver (II) in CsCdF3 single crystals
Copper and silver, respectively, were introduced into single crystals of CsCdF3. Our detailed electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) study showed that both elements enter the Cd lattice site-copper as Cu2+, silver as Ag+, which then was converted into AgH by x raying the corresponding samples. Cu2+ and Ai+ were shown to present in their ground state a pseudostatic J ahn-Teller effect. Motional e...

where E0 is the energy level without any external magnetic field B = B0êz. Again, g denotes the g factor[5]. For induced transitions, the selection rule is ∆ms = ±1. For unpaired electrons, however, this selection rule is observed for all transitions, as S = 12 and, hence, ms ∈ {− 12 , 2}. The previous formulas are based on the assumption that the response of the material on the external magnet...
